Call me a homebody, but on a typical Friday night, you can always find me in the same place: in my pajamas, on my sofa, Netflix turned on, chips and dip at hand.
After a hard week at work, it’s my favorite way to unwind and let the stress melt away. Throw in a plate of cold, delicious wine grapes, and I call that a rockin’ good evening.
However, when I found this cheap, easy, and delicious recipe, I realized that this is exactly what my relaxing nights had been missing! Forget greasy potato chips and canned dip. Pair this incredible spread with some nice crackers, maybe some chilled olives and carrots, and you have a snack that’s as nutritious as it is delicious.
Sure, you could just buy this dip from a store — but when I saw how quick and easy it was, and how few ingredients were involved, I realized that stores had been overcharging me for years.
Ingredients & Supplies:
-1 can chickpeas, drained
-2 Tbsp. tahini
-2 Tbsp. lemon juice
-2 Tbsp. olive oil
-1 garlic clove
-Blender or Nutribullet
Would you keep this delicious hummus “classic,” or would you add some
roasted peppers or pesto?
