President Barack Obama on Saturday lectured Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta about his country's gay rights record.

Under Kenyan law, sexual activity between men is illegal and punishable with a maximum imprisonment of 14 years.

"When you start treating people differently not because of any harm they are doing to anybody, but because they are different, that's the path whereby freedoms begin to erode," Obama said at a joint press conference with the Kenyan leader in Nairobi. "And bad things happen."

Obama equated legalized discrimination of gays to legalized racism in America.

"And when a government gets in a habit of people treating people differently, those habits can spread," Obama continued. "As an African-American, I am painfully aware of what happens when people are treated differently under the

Kenyatta, however, said that while the U.S. and Kenya share many common values and goals, gay rights is not one of them. "It is very difficult for us to be able to impose on people that which they themselves do not accept," Kenyatta said. "This is why I repeatedly say for Kenyans today the (gay rights issue)

is generally a non-issue. We want to focus on other areas." After that comment, a small amount of applause was heard, presumably from some of the audience attending.

Atletico Madrid confirm Thiagi Motta talks

Arsenal today received a transfer update on Psg milfielder Thiago Motta

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has admitted they are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of Thiago Motta.

The 32-year-old midfielder has a contract with PSG until the summer of 2016, but he is desperate to leave the Ligue 1 champions.

Head coach Laurent Blanc recently already revealed that Motta will not play for the Parisians again and the Italy international now appears to be on his way back to the Vicente Calderon.

"He is a player we are very much interested in," Rojiblancos supremo Cerezo was quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.

"Negotiations are taking their time, but we are in talks. "I don't know when the deal will be done, but talks are ongoing."

The Italy international started his professional career with Barcelona and previously wore the Atletico jersey in 2007-08, before leaving for Genoa. He also represented Inter before joining PSG in 2012.

Arsenal are rumored to be interested in the respected Midfielder to add more experience totheir squad.

Criminal inquiry requested over Clinton's email

A criminal investigation could be opened in relation to the personal email account that Hillary Clinton used during her time as secretary of state, according to a New York Times report late Thursday.

Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (born October 26, 1947) is an American politician. She was United States Secretary of State in the administration of President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013, a United States Senator representing New York from 2001 to 2009, and, as the wife of President Bill Clinton, First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. A leading candidate for the Democratic Party's nomination to the 2008 presidential election, she has announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential election.

Inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence agencies have asked the Justice Department to open an investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with Clinton's account, The Times reported, citing senior government officials.

The inspectors general are independent officials who conduct audits, investigations and inspections in the agencies for which they're responsible.

Clinton's use of the personal account instead of an official State Department one stirred up a political storm after news of it emerged in March.

The request for the Justice Department investigation comes after a June 29 memo from the inspectors general that said Clinton's private account held "hundreds of potentially classified emails," The Times reported.
